If you love y our animals; don't them them here.
DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE! I went because a friend (exfriend) of mine works here and said they were good. The vet came in... crushed my puppy to the table on her first visit (she said this shows dominance). After, when my dog turned to see what she was about to stick up it's rearend the doctor slapped the dog and and jammed the thermometer up the dogs hindend. My dog bites anyone who comes near her hind end quarters now... Afterward... the vet decided she would give me her opinion of me owning my breed of dog (Australian Shepard). saying it was obviously a wrong fit... I've had several of this breed of dog throughout my life and each has turned out better than the last. This vet is way out of connection with how to deal with people let alone animals. The vet techs here are insane. If the dog even moves a hint, three techs come in and pin the dog. NEVER GET A SURGERY DONE HERE! After any surgery, dogs and cats are put in 2x3x3 boxes outside on the ground... not sterile and fleas and ticks roam the grounds... Took my dog to ABC for the rest of her shots and nothing like this occurred. Don't even waste what little money you have to go here... chances are your dog won't survive the visit.

The "vet" is a monster
I was trying to save the lives of two little puppies that had ended up in my lap, and was advised to go there. On first impression, the receptionist was polite and friendly, but that's where it ended. This filthy slob with greasy hair came in, never once looked at us or introduced herself; looked at the puppies from across the stinking exam room and literally bellowed, "Just need to feed 'em is all!" She was a poor excuse for a human, let alone a veterinarian. She was offensive like no one I've interacted with- ever. She showed absolutely no compassion, only hostility toward all of us. I was shocked that she had no helpful suggestions or any kind of plan to treat the poor little guys, and I ended up crying myself, because I knew, at that point, that the puppies would probably die... And die they did, without any type of care that, if nothing else, could have minimized their suffering. I would gladly assist in running this idiot out of town on a rail.

Customer Service or Quality Vet Care by Mike W. at InsiderPages
We've had many great experiences with Broadway animal hospital. Sure, the vet can appear to be gruff, but in our experience she's just a no-nonsense care giver who tells you the facts you need to hear. (Yes, your dog is probably overweight.) For every dog issue we've had, the vet and her staff have been very good at focusing on what it would take to make the patient well and even pointing out potential health issues in advance. We trusted them to nurse our puppy through PARVO (she survived and is thriving now years later), through a severe allergic reaction and other common and maybe not so common ailments. The vet is also very willing to meet your budgetary needs and is flexible in scheduling. They even have reduced vaccination fees every Saturday. I would recommend this vet to anyone who wants quality veterinary care from a vet provider who truly cares about what matters....the animals. Go to the corporate/chain animal hospitals to get your fix of customer service bliss...we will keep going to Dr. Mueller for the great services she provides our dogs.

STAY AWAY! AS FAR AS YOU CAN!
I went here because I was paying for pet insurance through my employer. When I looked up online reviews on this place there was only one positive one so I decided to give it a try. She (the gruff vet with the loud voice) barely looked at my dog and based her diagnosis on only what I told her. I've only been to the vet a couple times with my dog and the vet experience was very new to me (first time pet owner). So this seemed odd to me but I was unsure on how to handle it. She said my dog was an old lady and needed this medication special medicine. And just in case we'll give her some antibiotics too...
Then she said my dog should get some bl00d work just to make sure she's fine. She took my dog to the back and brought her back with a shaved neck. She quickly mentioned that it's easier to take bl00d that way.
This vet's beside manner was terrible! Not only did she not examine my dog, she misdiagnosed her. Turns out my dog had a urinary tract infection. She would be on that medicine for life if I didn't get a second opinion. Also she never said "I'm going to shave your dogs neck because..." I wouldn't of had a problem with it as long as I had been giving the information.

I would never recommend this vet to anyone. I would never chance it. I love my new vet at Ft. Lowell and Country Club. I got rid of the pet insurance and found a vet I like.

I think the positive review was written by someone at the clinic...

Great Experience by JoAnne Q. at InsiderPages
I adopted two dogs over a year ago and have been taking them to Broadway Animal Hospital. Everytime I take them for appointments the staff and Dr. Mueller have been very pleasant and helpful! One of my dogs contracted Valley Fever and had to go on medication. Dr Mueller has continually checked up on her status by calling me at home.

I have recommended Broadway Animal Hospital to friends and family.
